Open Call for Public Performance in Chicago 2022
Submission for Public Performances in Chicago in Summer to Fall 2022. We will be prioritizing work that is interactive and creates a meaningful experience for Chicago public but are open to diverse proposals. This program will happen alongside Chicago Year of Dance and is created in collaboration with Chicago Park District and Nights Out in the Parks. We invite artists and collaborating artists to submit diverse forms of public performances and if the performance is stationary please let us know where you would like to perform.
We have formed a city collaboration with Rotterdam and will be selecting 8 artist/collectives, 7 local Chicago artists and 1 international artist to perform in Chicago. We are working with WORM, Rotterdam (Netherlands) and the eight participating artists in Chicago will have their work simultaneously projected into live public places in the City of Rotterdam.
