Abstract:

In this Performance Symposium, several reflections on how we invert or  decontextualize spaces will be presented in order to produce an original critical reflection for  each interpreter. 

The presentation will be divided into 4 parts and we need 15 minutes for each part: 

In the first part, we will invite artists to analyze the codes and rules of conduct imposed by the  spaces in which we live. As well as, we will generate strategies of mental and physical  resistance of the interpreter and the intervention of the body in the daily space. 

In the second part, we will describe some of the relationships between the meaning of the body,  the codes, the spaces and the rules that the interpreter can propose in the realization of a  performance. We will try to ask ourselves about the physicality of the body and its socio political codification. 

In the third part, we will talk about art as an educational tool, as well as the creation of new  forms of social and personal interaction, for this we will mention contemporary artists and we  will ask some questions that we will analyze later. We will also talk about meditation before and  after the performance. 

In the fourth part, we will attach theoretical texts that will bring us closer to the main title of this  conference and we will show through examples of images, some spaces where various  performative interactions took place. 

Finally, we will open a debate in several languages.
