Abstract
Join cultural producer Angelique Grandone in an exploration of the role of public performance in communal healing. We’ll specifically spend part of our time collectively imagining the ways in which our work as performers can be a tool to re-connect communities as we emerge from isolation and re-acquaint ourselves with public life. Our conversations will be rooted in topics including creative place-making, the role of performance in social justice movements, and the healing power of clowns.
