Performance Scholarship
Do you have a public performance art practice? Are you interested in creating work that responds to sites or that engages specific communities? We are interested in supporting artists who have a commitment to working in public space.
Choose two practice-based workshops you would like to attend prior to filling out the scholarship submission form. Would you like to attend in person at one of our international hubs? These are options to think about prior to filling out the scholarship form and we will only accept one application per person and one site.Please note if you select one of the in-person International Hubs you can sign up for a one on one hour long mentorship session with one of the workshop facilitators.
Before filling in the scholarship submission form please check the schedule to figure out which program works best for your schedule. In Week 3 you will be invited to select a date to perform on either Thursday September 28 or Friday September 29. Writer's Scholarship
Do you like to write about performance art? Are you a scholar or art history major who has a particular interest in public performance art and socially engaged projects? Choose from our diverse program and let us know what you would like to write about?
Prior to filling out the scholarhip form please read through the workshops and select two practice-based workshops that you would like to attend. These can either be in-person in Chicago, or in Rotterdam, or you can opt-in to participate online. There will be two scholarships for Chicago & Rotterdam and four scholarships for online participation.
