Dimple B Shah is practicing Transdisciplinary artist from Bangalore, studied in MS University, Baroda; her art practice has developed in Painting, Printmaking, Installation and Performance Art.  She has worked in various residencies like Virtual Canvas International online residency Krupa Gallery Wroclaw Poland, The Art house UK, Villa Waldbreta, Germany, Space Studio, Baroda, Glasgow Print Studio UK, Printmakers Studio Mumbai & Baroda and Karnataka Lalit Kala Academy.  She has been honored with National & International Awards among them ROSL International Residency UK 2019, Villa Waldbreta Residency by Municipal corporation of Munich 2017, India Foundation for the Arts grant for project 560, 2014, Afiriperforma International Residency, Lagos, Nigeria 2013, First Gold Prix in 7th Engraving Biennale, Versailles 2009, National Award, LKA, Government of India 2008, Commonwealth Arts & Crafts Award, UK 2005, Arunawaz Award 2004, Junior Fellowship, HRD, Govt.2000/2. 

She had solo shows in Glasgow Print studio, United Kingdom. Sumukha Art Gallery  & Kalakriti Art Gallery, Hyderabad, two person show  at The Art House United Kingdom and Manchester Contemporary ,‘The Weitere Weiterreichung' in Kunstquartier Bethanien, Berlin.  In 2019. she participated in International Exhibitions like Third International  Print Biennale Yerevan 2021 ,Hit | Haugesund International Relief Print Festival, THE 5TH BANGKOK TRIENNALE INTERNATIONAL PRINT AND DRAWING EXHIBITION, EIGHT INTERNATIONAL TRINNALE, SOFIA ,BULGERIA Dada Fest International Festival, Liverpool and Massachusetts USA, 1st Print Biennale workshop, and 2nd Print Biennale, Limited Edition Art house and widely performed at International Multimedia Festival 2019/20  Dhaka Live Art Biennale 2019,  Morni Hills performance Biennale, PAE (Echoes of Shamanism)Amsterdam-2018,  Beyond Ritual Performance project, Munich -2017, Live Action 11 Gothenburg, Sweden -2016,The Longest Day performance Festival, Zurich -2015, Hysteria#5Launch Paris-2015,Magdalena Festival Munich -2015, Afiriperforma International Residency Lagos, Nigeria -2013, 1st Performance Festival by Theertha art Gallery Colombo -2013 and Chobbir Haat Festival Dhaka -2013 and, Kochi Muzarish collateral -2017.She has curated several performances Festival like KIPAF 2016, JAS summit (2017) and Basavanagudi Live Art Project funded by IFA -2014 and Jaipur art summit 2017.  

In 2020 and 2021 pandemic period she participated in festival and biennale to name few 2021, Live Performance for ADF Event French Embassy, Uncertainty Woodcut Show, Bangalore,  Live Action 16 Sweden curated by Jonas Stampe and Jaokim Stampe, Transitstation by  Dagmar I. Glausnitzer-Smith, 3rd International Yerevan Biennale, Armenia, 4th Global Be-coming Art Event-Online Event  2021   Fifth Edition of FORMA Y SUSTANCIA, 2021 R.A.W , ‘Beyond Belfast’  2021  Performed at event like  PEPA- Pequeño Evento de Performance Art curated  by   Veronica Pena and Analía Beltrán i Janés. ‘Virtual Matters’ for Hive Art Community, USA, 2021, Crossover 2020/21 Curated by Qing Cia, 2021/20-Becoming Tree 3rd Global Performance Event United Kingdom, 4th Homar Festival of Light and Out of Site Chicago event. 2020- OBLAK Performance Event, Lock Unlock simultaneous performance event2020/21. Performance at Anant Art Gallery 2020, Bio-Network Festival In 2022 her video work is part of ‘The Wrong Biennale’ curated Rajib Bhattacharya. She is practicing Live Performance art since last 20 years currently she is focusing on developing printmaking and Live Performance Art along with community based performances projects.
